At some point of time the heads that appear on the bus seem to resemble heads that may have appeared previously

but thats cos in tiny singapore, you do get pretty much generic lookin asian girls. this does not discount the handful of extremely gorgeous babes, who sadly don't take the bus often enough.

Singapore is not exactly a small town, tho' it seems like it.
Lonely world, well judging by the volume of Kylie blasting out from her earphones, I guess you could say she was in her own world.
Midnight Train? how about morning bus?

Was on the way to a seminar in the morning, and Kylie-ears sat in front of me. Strings of Nah nah nah... slip out from her earphones. I Like my music as loud as the next guy, but please, at 830am... Now I can't get you outta my head.

Today we welcome to the family, lucky number 13. No. 13 also happens to be our first non-asian head too!

13 boarded the bus at the stop after I boarded. He was accompanied by his friend, and non-descript chinese guy (carbon copy of the normal cheena guy you'd see on the street.)

13 is a tourist, by virtue of NDCG pointing out landmarks along the route that the bus we were on were taking.

apart from that, 13 did have a cool pair of shades.

As they say, 2 heads are better than 1.
but i doubt they were referring to todays offering.

As I boarded the bus and headed to my favourite seat (upper deck, 2nd last seat on the left) I wasn't in the mood to take any photos, heads or other wise. But today's heads were fun.

Our first specimen, the gentleman to the right of this paragraph of text was my first capture of the day. What caught my attention apart from the tri-band dual-coloured strap was that he was sporting a pair of brightly silver coloured wraparound earphones. Not exactly shenton way couture, but hey... whatever floats his boat right?

Secondly, the young lady who later sat behind silver-ears. Most definately a student b'cos she lugging her giant file and textbook. I'm guessing poly student, but I'm not the most astute when it comes to guessing ages. Also, she had these really kiddy hairclips and a frazzled looking hair-tie which was not quite rubber band, not quite scrunchie. Like it was having an identity crisis. Not exactly very glam, but hey.. whatever floats her boat right?

Decided to sit on the opposite side of the bus today. Not 2 minutes after taking my seat and getting comfy, lil miss hairclip sits down.

Now i'm not familar with long hair, I have never kept my hair longer than is manageable. It just gets to be too much of a hassle to beat into something presentable every morning, besides the grass tends to look like disgruntled shag carpet.

At these strange hours (830am) of the morning (strange to me at least; I'm still living in my own timezone), its amazing to see this huge hairclip which looks like a miniature prop from an science fiction movie (read: cocoon like metamorphosis chamber) propped precariously on this long haired lass's head. Why do women wear these things?

so with that I welcome bus head #5 to the family.

Sleepy man on bus.

On any other day, given that this guy is practically snoring, this really should have been an easy shot to take.

However, this guy swayed and swerved with every tap of the driver's foot on the accelerator/brake. so i had to take like 3 shots to finally get a half decent pic.

You can't really see it in this pic., but this guy is wearing old school gold framed specs! and he has that spectacle band thing in black leather. ahpek? i dunno... he was carrying a rather stylish braun buffel attache.

What exactly are you looking at? I can't say I know, cos I was kinda busy taking a picture of the back of your head.

Quite surprised that there are people in the morning alert enough on the bus to read newspapers, rush through textbooks, etc. etc.

On a rainy Thursday evening, we find Soup Boy, perched over the remains of a bowl of wanton noodles.

He casually stirs the singular yellow strand of egg noodles with the bamboo chopsticks that so faithfully assisted Soup Boy in his semi-sumptuous repast. The porcelain bowl that once held the promise of warm pork infused liquids, now sits dry with only the stragglers of a once plentiful colony of spring onions.

The phone rings...

And so it came to pass...
